Low turnout. Prizes for largest fish, most fish, and fortunately smallest fish.We were ahead by count for awhile. Until some dude using minnows caught a big bass. Then some other dad had multiple poles out for his daughter. So we barely came out with this prize. Overconfidence, then he starts goofing off.
We competed a couple years before at Weldon Springs. They had a table full of trophies, divided by age group. It was hot, fish weren't biting. Some dads caught fish starting before the tournament, and turned those in. We caught 1 large bass, but that wasn't good enough.
